A Domain Name is an address that tells web browsers (i.e. Internet Explorer) where to find your website, and lets an email know where to find your inbox. Once you have bought a Domain Name, you can Host a website and set up email accounts relating to that Domain Name.

You can register as many Domain Names as you require through our company. Please note, however, that there are restrictions to the amount of Domain Names that you can Host on our packages, and you may need to consider upgrading your Hosting package.

Yes, we support FTP. We recommend you use FileZilla.

In this case, you will have to register the Domain with a different extension. Otherwise, all you can do is contact the current registrant of the Domain Name, and see if they are open to offers for the control of the Domain. Sitemyx will not make any offers for Domains that have already been registered, we will only register available Domains, or accept transfers of Domains that you own the registration for.

It's important to remember that domain name registration and web space are separate services. They are all associated with your domain, but technically and commercially they are separate. The concepts are a bit abstract, so let's make them concrete.
